Basketball Babes
for RSU 21 PreK students
- Would your little one like an opportunity to play basketball like the big kids?
- Basketball Babes is designed to offer some physical activity during the long winter months with some age-appropriate fun and social time.
- Saturday mornings 8:00-8:30am
- Session options (5 weeks or 10 weeks):
- Session 1: 12/4/2021 through 1/15/2022 (skipping 12/25 & 1/1)
- Session 2: 1/22/2022-2/19/2022
- Both sessions: 12/4/2021-2/19/2022 (skipping 12/25 & 1/1)
- Fee: $30 per session, includes a t-shirt. Or $50 for both sessions if registered by 11/14/2021.
- Registration deadlines:
- 11/14/2021 for session 1
- 12/5/2021 for session 2
We are very pleased to have access to the schools for winter youth basketball. We are working with RSU 21 regarding facility use rules for winter sports. We are very hopeful, but we want to be upfront that we do not know for sure if spectators will be allowed at this time. We will be required to follow suit if MSK and KHS Athletics do not allow spectators for indoor winter sports. We will be following Covid protocol for youth athletics that mirrors MSK and KHS athletics protocol, which is expected to be in line with statewide MPA guidelines. These rules may require masking during indoor sports for athletes in middle school and high school throughout the state. We will be taking attendance for players and coaches, and requiring sign-in from spectators for contact-tracing purposes.
